It's All About Rich Moments, Enjoying Prettiness Indoors or Outdoors

Thank goodness we don’t have to follow trends when it comes to our homes. There will always be a variety of fabrics, paints, rugs, furniture, etc. from which to choose, unlike clothing fashions where style is dictated by what’s available to purchase. For our homes, we observe only what is shown by the media. Friends and family show us what is reality. We are happy to decorate as we see fit, whether or not we are on trend. Home decor is sturdy and usually lasts so much longer than clothing and accessories.

You are right Fonda! I read a very funny blog yesterday about kitchen trends. Did you know in Germany you bring your kitchen with you? So you pack it up every time you move. We are so fortunate!

Yay! I’m with you. More color! More depth! More vavoom! I am not into grey/gray, neutral, greige, and the like. I just painted my DR Behr’s Opal Silk; glad to see I’m in with a new trend. Although my DR will still be that color when we’re back to beige.

I’m not trend follower either…but I am a color lover, can never have to much. SO not in to the all white, everything looks the same look? Love your sense of color. Downtown Abbey do believe has an influence in to the new trends.

Hey Cathy! Thanks but I think we have the SAME sense of color! I have found myself trying to like the white but it just isn’t going to happen. But saying that I do think a white sofa can look really pretty when it has pretty pillows on it. So I cheat and throw white quilts on mine in the summer. Thanks for coming by, I don’t know how I missed your comment.
