Wow–pretty photos! I love how you captured the golden colors of the lit up grass!! As far as buying flowers for oneself , I have often done this. My hubby is great at buying them however. We noticed that in the grocery stores the flowers go on a big sale around here after Valentine’s Day. (well, actually they often have good sales for Valentine’s Day as well 😉 ) . But they were greatly discounted the day after—I told my hubby to wait and get me some after the day, lol!

Thank you! We usually sell out of flowers in our small town around Valentine’s Day so if one were looking the day after they might come up short. I wish we had more grocery stores to sell them here but we have just one. That means I may not always get fresh flowers. That’s great that you can get them at a savings there.

Lovely photographs, Jan! The golden fields. . .oh my, I just want to run through them! And how lucky for you to get that shot of the Egret! I can never get close enough to birds :(. I agree with you about the flowers, but I am lucky in that Carl takes me out “flower shopping”, as he puts it. I can select whatever I wish, an orchid, some roses, tulips, or a plant to be enjoyed indoors until it can be put in the ground. Your photos are all beautiful.

Thank you! Yes, I have never been that close to an egret before. I see them often but definitely from a distance, I guess I got really lucky. Good for you that your Carl takes you flower shopping! I
