We have really pretty blooms on the oleanders and the blue hydrangeas. I am happy to share them with you today.
The bowl on top of the feeder is an attempt to keep the squirrels from stealing all the bird food. The hydrangeas and oleanders are blooming at the same time and we are enjoying the combination of colors.
I had hoped I would have enough blooms to do a vignette with the hydrangeas this year but I don’t think I will. We had alot of the wood to die off last year so the blue hydrange bushes by the back porch are smaller over all this year.
Maybe no playing with them, we’ll see.
Does anyone recognize these flowers below that are on my back porch? They are such pretty colors but I don’t know if they like shade or sun. My daughter bought them for me but they had no tag.
A baby goose is called a gosling. A group of geese is called a gaggle. What a cute gaggle of goslings!
Parents are very attentive! The gaggle of goslings grew. 😉
This little flower is covered in dust from the sanding the infamous pine table. Anyone recognize this flower?
Do you see the bird?
Another mystery flower!

Oh your garden is beautiful. Wish I could see it in person.I do miss northern gardens.
Thank you Carol. We do enjoy the colors outside and the Spring is when I enjoy them the most. Because of the high humidity we have down here the summer months can be brutal.
Jan, I love all of your flowers and the geese are precious! 🙂
Thank you so much Stacey!
OOO, I am GREEN with envy over your beautiful blue flowers…I don’t think I can grow them here in West Tex but I sure might plant a large pot with them and just see how they do…..
love your pretty garden.
Thanks BJ! We have blue hydrangeas by the porch and blue and pink on the other side of the yard. They haven’t gotten any blooms yet. Last year there was a tinge of purple in them which is my favorite.
Beautiful! I’m envious of your gorgeous hydrangeas. Love seeing the sweet little family. ‘-)
Thank you Sarah! They are a sweet family.
Mystery flower is dianthus. Also called sweet william.
Thank you Carole! Hugs to you, now I can find out how to take care of them.
Ah, yes, I saw Carole answered your question..Sweet William, a pretty perennial or biennial that grows in beautiful shades of pink to purple. Your garden is lovely!
Thank you Chloe! Hugs to you too!
Your garden is so beautiful! I love your hydrangeas! Ours must be late bloomers because we just have tiny buds right now. Can’t wait until they bloom. Your photography is gorgeous, by the way!
Thank you Meg! We have the blue hydrangeas blooming by the porch and across the yard, in the shade, not a bloom yet.
Absolutely gorgeous photos of a beautiful garden.
Thank you so much!
