I have just started to follow your blog and I am looking forward to seeing your beautiful ideas for a smaller home. I love all of the wallpaper used. They look very southern. Will be checking in often. Ccs

Thank you so much Connie! I am so glad you found me and took the time to comment. I am so glad to hear from another lover of wallpaper, it can just do such magic to a room. And yes ma’am I am in the South!

Thank you! Yes, they are real. I go crazy over these when I am fortunate enough to come across them. I feel like this may be a nod toward Lynn Von Kersting. It seems like I am drawn to those colors a lot lately but not sure why.

I first saw B. E. at the Chelsea back in the late 90s and went bonkers over it. I had a heckuva time tracking down a U. S. supplier.. I only have one bush and when I saw your post, I went out to cut the one blossom I thought was ready. Turns out it had “blowsed” out already. Maybe tomorrow or the next day.

Oh I hope so! I am not a rose aficionado and have had very little luck with attempting to grow them. Well actually my mister is the attempted grower and I am the beneficiary! We had a couple of blooms from a Joseph Coat rose earlier in the year that looks very much like this in color but not texture. Maybe today will be your day to receive a beautiful bloom! Good luck!
