Can we all pray for those dealing with these monster hurricanes? It is proving to be an extremely tough year.
It is cooling off and the weather has turned really nice here. I don’t know how long that will last since it’s still September but we will enjoy it for now. I put together a late summer floral arrangement. It hints of fall with the purple tones. Purple is still the reigning queen here as far as color goes. It’s a mix of purple hydrangeas of two different shades, lavender carnations, berries and greenery to give it more oomph.
I have been searching for new bedding for our master bedroom for a long long time. Most of the colors available don’t speak to me. This is a quilt I found that has the colors that I always love. It hasn’t been with us for long and I am still trying to put the room together. The solid back looks good with a peek of the floral showing. The floral shams bring it all to life.
Well, I said I wasn’t going to show it to you in the bedroom until I had it all together but here is a peep. I just threw the bedding on the bed, it isn’t made up yet. I have a thick white comforter I will keep folded at the foot of the bed when it gets cold. I love color year round and especially in the winter when there isn’t any outdoors. Color is so important I don’t know how you can choose not to decorate with some color in the dead of winter.
The balcony off the bedroom.
Some Fall color starting to show up around the lake.
