Are ya’ll sneezing as much as we are? Spring has sprung and we are so enjoying it. I am sorry for those of you that are still enduring winter. I like the cooler weather we have had. It’s usually much warmer by now but I think today we are near 80 degrees so that’s plenty warm.
I gathered roses from behind the house and a few irises along with some flowers from the chain store to make the flower arrangement nice and full. I love being able to make arrangements with what is growing here. It makes it so much more meaningful.
The flowers made the round through the house and back outside.
The purple of the irises is picked up in the pillows. The red roses are repeated as well. But it doesn’t matter because all flowers are pretty.
I know many of the bloggers use trays on their coffee tables but I prefer my mirror on the coffee table. It is flat except for the outside ridge and it glams up the coffee table.
The bouquet was taken outside to the irises’ birthplace. Well…they were ‘born’ there so I thought it would be a tribute to their hardworking mothers with Mother’s Day coming soon. ; )!
Got up close and personal with the roses. There is no light bulb in that rose at the bottom of the photo. Those roses which I believe, I know I should know by now, are Joseph Coat roses and they can have that glow. They change their colors so quickly from one day to another.
Fun on the neighborhood lake.
Jacques, my granddog.
